eBook: Finishing Tamiya's Sherman Firefly IC by Pat Johnston
Pat Johnston was kind enough to work with me to compose an
electronic book of his recently completed Tamiya 1/48-scale
Sherman Firefly IC.
Pat posted each stage of his finishing of this kit on
Track48's forum. To make it easier to download all
the different updates, I've combined them into
one e-book and reformatted them to make following the
step-by-step instructions easier. Furthermore,
additional content not included in the original
forum posts is included where further clarification
seemed useful.
Our hope is that Garfield will create a permament
link to this e-book in the features section of his
site so that modelers will be able to benefit from
Pat's exemplary lessons.
The book is 112 pages in length and a little over
45Mb in size. It can be downloaded to your PC,
burned to a CD and taken to your neighborhood copy
center where they can duplex print and bind it for
you at a nominal cost. Of course, you can always
print it out at home if you have adequate equipment
and enough tonot/ink cartridges.
(I printed mine on a color Laserjet in work)
