Ace 1/72 NKL-16/41 Aerosan

Another Aerosan version from Ace...based on the NKL-26 but with a new front tank. The kit has 50 short run injection moulded parts, a very small etched fret and a small decal sheet with the number '29' twice. Interior detail consits of two bench seats, a steering wheel and dash board. The engine has separate cylinders and is nicely detailed. A 'spare' propeller (for side mounting) is supplied.

Ace 1/72 1938 Olympia 4 door saloon

Based on Ace kit #72505 Opel Olympia (Cabriolet) 1937, this is the 4 door 1938 version so you get new body halves and a few extra parts left over from the earlier kit. In all, there are 57 short run injection moulded parts and a small decal sheet. There's a full interior and reasonable chassis detail but no engine (just the sump). Optional style wheels are povided.

Admiral 1/72 Vought Pirate F6U-1 international

A re-issue of the earlier U.S. versions of the Pirate, this new release comes with "what if' markings for three aircraft...Salvadoran A/F, JASDF (Japan) and British RAE, Boscombe Down, 1951.

Admiral 1/72 Gotha P-60C

This is a re-issue of the A.Z. P-60C-1 kits but this time under the 'Admiral' brand and with 'what if' markings for three 'non German' aircraft....U.S. Navy (Nasa), Japan and Soviet Union. N.B. the Luftwaffe versions of the kit have been deleted from the A.Z. listings.

A.Z. 1/72 Spitfire 1Xc 'duel set' (Egypt & Israel '2 in 1')

Yet another re-boxing of the A.Z. Spitfire Mk.9c...this time there are two kits in the box with markings for four aircraft....2x Israel 1948 and 2x Egypt 1948.

A.Z. 1/72 Bell AH-1G Cobra (Vietnam)

A 'non Spitfire' new releasse from A.Z.!! This Huey Cobra kit has 60 'long run' (metal moulds) injection moulded parts (including the canopy), a photo etched fret (with seat belts) and a set of decals with markings for three U.S. Army Vietnam war aircraft. The mouldings are excellent with fine engraved panel lines and a nicely detailed cockpit. Optional style nose turret guns are suppiled along with weapon pods.

A.Z. 1/72 Bell AH-1G Cobra (International)

Same kit as above but with markings for three 'international' aircraft...Spanish navy, Spanish army and Israel A/F.

Miniart 1/16 Ernst Udet (figure)

This kit is of a standing figure of the German WW1 ace, Ernst Udet. There are just 24 crisp, clean injection moulded parts, including a 'base' on which to display the finished model.

Valom 1/72 Caproni Campini N.1

Yes, this aircraft has been kitted before in 1/72 scale, but by Delta (of Italy) and from all reports it was crap! This new (long awaited) Valom release has just 32 crisp, clean injection mnoulded parts (with very nicely engraved surface detail) along with two (one spare) vac-formed canopies (!!), a fret of photo etched details, two resin main whells and a resin engine intake...and a set of decals with markings for two Italian aircraft. If you use the etched parts, the cockpits will come out quite well detailed. Unfortunately, the wheel wells are not 'boxed in' but there is some interior detail moulded onto the inside of the top wing half. In all, quite a good kit but it's a shame Valom has gone back to including vac formed canopies instead of injection moulded ones. N.B. Valom claims that as the Campini flew with the canopies open, the only way to portray them is with vac formed parts as injection moulded would be too thick! Too bad no crew figures or a stand are supplied so the model can be displayed in 'flying' mode and I'm sure that on the ground the canopies were closed! Besides, cutting open a vac formed canopy is very, very difficult!

Valom 1/72 Yak-9 (early)

This is a re-issue of Valom's Yak-7 kit but with the inclusion of a new (as well as the old) 'early series' fuselage and new (resin) wing tips. Even with the 'four' fuselage halves there are just 38 injection moulded parts (including the canopy!), along with a photo etched fret, a bag of resin bits (main wheels, cockpit side walls, wing tips, etc.) and a set of decals with markings for two Soviet late war aircraft. What with the resin and photo etched parts, cockpit detail is very good. However, the wheel wells are shown in the instructions as being 'boxed in', but they are not! The under belly radiator and rudder are separate mouldings but all other control surfaces are 'fixed'.

Valom 1/72 MD 450 Ouragan (Patrouille de France)

Yet another re-issue of Valom's M.D.450, this time with markings for aircraft of the PAF (Patrouille de France) 1956. ... but minus the weapons that came with the other versions! All up this time there are 47 crisp, clean injection moulded parts, including a one piece canopy, a photo etch fret, a resin seat, nose wheel and exhaust pipe...and the set decals.

Miniart 1/35 Market Garden - Netherlands 1944

58 parts for the five figures, plus rifles...as per the box top.

A.Z. 1/72 K5Y1 Akatombo Trainer

A.Z. has decided to call it's K5Y1 the 'Akatombo' ... probably to throw you off guard for in fact it's a re-boxing of the Valom 'Willow' trainer ... with a couple of slight differences...gone are the injection moulded clear parts in favour of a 'clear sheet' from which you cut the windscreens ... and the photo etched fret is smaller but this is covered by the inclusion of resin parts. In all, there are 52 crisp, clean, short run injection moulded parts in the A.Z. kit....including floats for the floatplane version. All control surfaces (apart from the elevators) are separate mouldings, enabling you to attach them in a 'realistic' position. Cockpit and engine detail is good, there is a machine gun and mount for the rear cockpit and there are a couple of under wing mounted bombs. The instruction sheet has a rigging diagram too! Decals are for three Japanese aircraft... in natural metal (1941), trainer orange (1942) and dark green and orange (1944)....BTW...the Valom kit has just two decal options but the price is the same.

Imagem

A.Z. 1/72 K5Y1 Akatombo Special attack

Same kit as above but with four decal options (and on one, you get to use the bombs!) three Japanese planes ...dark green and orange (1945), dark green and orange in a camouflage pattern (1944), dark green and orange (1944-45') and all over dark green, Indonesian A/F (1945).

Imagem

A.Z. 1/72 K5Y2 Akatombo Float plane

Again, same kit but this time with markings for three Japanese floatplanes...natural metal with an orange rudder (1943), dark green (top only) and orange (1945) and dark green (top and sides) and orange undersides (1944).

Bacana o Ouragan PAF. Esse pirate e o outro kit "what if" achei desnecessários, mas...
